For those who fell in love with the ' The Great Pottery Throw Down', now is your chance to have a go!
Don't worry if you've never worked with clay before, this is a
beginner's class, lead by our in-house potter, Caitlin.
The class will last roughly 1.5-2 hours and there will be a maximum of 6 people per booking, plus the throwing instructor. You will make 2 small pots each, and then choose your favourite one which will be glazed and fired in the kiln.
Pricing
£45 per individual
£70 for 2 people
*(New firing prices start from January 2024)*
Includes all materials and firing for 1 small pot each plus clear glazing. If you would like to keep more than one, there will be an additional £5 charge for each extra pot.
Class Info
- Throwing workshops are for those aged 12+ (with an adult)
or 18+ without.
Access: Please note that the throwing room located is down a set of stairs. If someone in your group has mobility issues, please let us know at the point of booking so we can accommodate.
- We have
3 wheels at present, therefore a maximum of 6 people per workshop.
- After the workshop you will leave creations with us for roughly 2
months to dry and have the first (bisque) firing in the kiln, then ready to be clear glazed or decorated.
If you would like to come back to paint your pots, just pay £10 for a second painting session, available 7 days a week..
