We have gift ideas and items for all occasions and events, which are great for Grandparents and family members.  Doodles ceramics also welcomes adults and older children for individual, group or corporate events.

Imprints

Our baby imprints are the perfect way to capture those tiny toes
and they look wonderful hung on the wall in the gorgeous frames - framed for us by Marchmont Gallery.

The process for clay imprints is very simple, we press the baby's hands and feet into fresh clay, to capture those cute wee fingers and toes. After that, all we need form you is your choice of colour and lettering - the rest is finished by us. 

The process is a long one but well worth the wait. The imprints take 2 months to be ready, as once we trim the clay down to size, we let it dry for 4 weeks before going through its first bisque firing. After this, it is then painted by us and fired a second time before being sent off to the framers (unframed options are available as well.)

We can match sibling imprints and gift vouchers are available to buy online.

Baby painted hand and footprints

Our other option for babies are the painted hand and footprints. We can realistically do these onto most items of pottery we have in shop: plates, mugs, vases, jugs etc (all items priced individually.) If the item has enough space, we can print a hand or foot onto it.


A member of staff is on hand to do the hand and footprints onto your chosen item(s), and then the rest is up to you. We show you how all the paints work, the best way to do the writing and then you are free to decorate the rest of your piece(s). Once finished, you leave it with us for 7 days to be glazed and fired.


We can make hand and footprints into adorable animals and shapes, we have lots of examples around the shop to help and they make wonderful gifts for Mothers Day, Fathers day and Grandparents.

Please note hand prints can sometimes be a little tricky with new-borns but feet always look great no matter the age.
