TAKE HOME KITS
PLEASE READ
*8please note take home kits handed back in in December will not be fired and ready to collect until January when we re-open**
You do
NOT
need to email or call in advance to get a take home kit. We'd prefer if you came to the shop and picked your items and colours on the day. Please be aware that it can take us up to half an hour to get your kit ready. We recommend coming in on weekdays when we will have more staff available to help you. Our weekends get very busy so there will likely be a longer wait on these days.

HOW IT WORKS
COME TO OUR WORKSHOP
We recommend the best way to pick your take home kit is to come to our shop in Marchmont and choose your items from the selection we have in store as our stock changes monthly.
You don't need to call in advance, just pop by anytime. It can take up to half an hour
to get your kit ready,
especially on our busiest days (Sat and Sun).
CHOOSE YOUR ITEMS AND PAINTS
Take a look at our selection of pottery and pick whatever takes your fancy, there is no limit! We provide a set selection of colours for you to take away with you and a handy instruction sheet of dos and don'ts in your kit to help.
Note: we cannot provide easy-writers, speckled paint, sugar pens or etching tools in take home kits. We do not provide brushes in your kit but have them available to purchase in shop (£5 for x 3)
TAKE YOUR KIT HOME
Once you have chosen everything, you pay at the shop and then take your items home to paint.
DROP OFF FOR FIRING
Once you have completed your masterpiece, just drop off your pottery to be fired anytime during our opening hours.
We ask that you also return your paints to us at this point.
PICK UP YOUR PIECE
Your piece will be ready to collect a week later. Just pop in to collect it when you can!
Choice of Colours
We provide a set selection of our most popular colours for use with our take home kits, with one pot of each colour shown on the right. Unfortunately requests for specific colours are not possible, as a small number of paint pots are available.
- Please return your paint pots when you drop your painted pottery off to be fired. We will sanitise these, ready for the next kit!
- Brushes are available to purchase in-store with 3 brushes for £5, as we do now give out brushes from the shop to take home.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•All orders can be made in shop at Doodles Ceramics Workshop in Marchmont, EH9 1HQ
•Collection will be from the workshop, we are open 7 days a week. Payment can be made by cash or contactless card machine on the day.
•We are happy to provide all that you need, however if you have your own brushes or mini containers we are delighted if you want to use them.
